Safemach carryout Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) thorough examination and test (TExT) on extraction systems at various sites, examining hoods, filters, and ducts as required by the COSHH Regulations and in line with the requirement of HSG 258.
Safemach will carryout the following on your LEV system:
Testing of LEV systems is a legal requirement as stipulated in the COSHH Regulations and enforced by the HSE. It is also a legal requirement the duty holders maintain their LEV system is an efficient working condition to ensure personnel are not exposed to contaminants.
It is a legal requirement of the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations that each LEV system shall be tested at least every 14 months by a competent person to ensure it’s working effectively and safely in removing hazardous gas and particulates. Depending on the application, some LEV systems will require more frequent testing.
